Teeth Whitening

There are many things that can make your teeth look yellow and stained. Coffee will do it if  you drink enough of it. Regular cigarette smoking will definitely stain your teeth because of the nicotine. Not brushing your teeth enough will lead to stained teeth. The fact is, stained teeth is all too common, but it is not generally acceptable. People often don't find stained teeth attractive, and you'll never find a model or actor with stained teeth—though you might find the occasional musician with less than perfect teeth. Because of the general consensus that stained teeth are gross and ugly, there are many items on the market to help get teeth back to bright, beautiful, and white. Some teeth whitening products are simple toothpastes. Some mouthwashs claims to be teeth whitening as well. There are also various strips and products that anybody can use with ease. They're not too expensive, and they're far less traumatic than going to the dentist and having your teeth polished. All you have to do is use the teeth whitening products regularly, because just once is not enough. Nearly every product will admit that it is a gradual process and not something that will literally happen overnight.

Teeth whitening is a safe and easy procedure. It is not painful, and the chemicals and cleaners used to clean and bleach the teeth are not toxic. Most dentists will polish and whiten your teeth when you get them cleaned—as you should every six months—and from there you can ask your dentist which produce is right for your mouth and needs.
